Local file inventory and size analyzer

Review selected local files by extension, total bytes and largest files, then export an inventory.

Enter your values or select local files.

File names and sizes are read locally; file contents are not read or uploaded. Up to 5,000 files. The inventory describes your selection, not the whole device. Same-name files are counted separately.

Formula

Total bytes = sum of selected file sizes; type groups use the final file extension.

Worked example

Two files of 1,000 B and 2,000 B total 3,000 B = 3 KB.
